Merry Christmas!

Olivia got a Barbie Jeep this year! Too bad we live in a place with a "White Christmas!" It snowed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so we had to shovel our deck for her to take a little ride. When she saw the Jeep, she got in like she knew exactly what to do. She slammed on the gas and ran into the table in her playroom. No one could even do anything about it because we were all laughing so hard! She got the hang of it a little better once we moved outside. As you can see from our red faces, it was FREEZING...but she was not happy about having to come back inside! At least we will have all spring and summer to learn how to drive! She also got a basketball hoop to play with her Daddy. She loves playing with him at the gym and now they have one at home! Nothing is better than having kids at Christmas!

Opening presents

K.C. is so cute on Christmas...he is like a little kid in a candy store! The difference is he is so hard to buy for. This year, I got his college jersey and framed it with his profile and cool pics from college. I think it was a hit! He likes anything about him:) It may appear he doesn't like his Lacoste sweater, but this is the face he and his friends at work make when they think eachother look sharpe...I know, total metrosexual, but it has many perks!! We had such a great Christmas!

Family time at Christmas

We had everyone at our house for Christmas this year. It was so much fun! We somehow got talked into opening Christmas presents among the adults late Christmas Eve...K.C. pleaded his case and we eventually gave in:) We saved some for in the morning but, Christmas Day was ALL ABOUT OLIVIA! She loved opening presents and helping everyone open their presents. She would say, "ooh..I got pretty shoes. I love them! What did you get? Do you like it? I wanna open ANOTHER present!" Who doesn't!! We are really trying to get her to use the big girl potty. Her new potty books are her favorite, so hopefully it pays off!

Uncle Jared and Aunt Nicole are HOME!

K.C.'s brother, Jared and his wife, Nicole came in town for Christmas. He could only stay a couple of days because he is in the middle of his college basketball season, but he finally got to meet Gabi! We loved having them home! We can't wait for them to move back!!

Gabi-O

Our little Gabi is growing up so fast! She smiles and laughs and definitely knows my voice...She is even trying to sit up..but as you can see, she is a little too chubby to do that yet! We love snuggling together:)

Dress Up!

Olivia got a dress up outfit from my Mom. She hasn't quite gotten into it yet, but her favorite color is pink and she loves to look pretty!

Daddy's Girl!

Since K.C. has been home, Olivia won't let him leave the room! She loves her Daddy!!

Cute little Gabi in her Christmas onsie!

We opened Christmas gifts with my parents before we left SC. We had so much stuff going home! Olivia loves the piano she got. She knows all the songs and where they are. Her musical talent definitely came from K.C.'s side of the family! Here she is dancing and singing to the songs.

Hangin' in SC!

We are having so much fun in SC with my family. Our Thanksgiving was great with good ole' southern favorites:) You know we can fry anything and the turkeys were great...Thanks, Kevin!

Olivia just loves playing with all her cousins! K.C. and I got lots of Christmas gift ideas hanging out at my sister Kelli's house...Olivia was trying to "borrow" all of her cousin Emily's toys. She is 3, so you can imagine how that played out!

Olivia got to see Santa in the Christmas parade at my Mom's house...yeah, Santa in SC is sweating because this definitely ain't the North Pole...its 70 degrees! We are soaking it up because K.C. called to inform me he was shoveling 6 inches of snow off our driveway! Looks like maybe we will have a White Christmas again!

Hope you all enjoyed Thankgiving!! We have lots to be Thankful for!!

Oliviaisms????

Okay, so my friend Misty had the best idea on her blog...she put cute things her little girl says (she is 2 also). I just had to add this on because Olivia cracks me up all the time with the things she says!

We are in the car driving and Gabi starts crying and she says, "Its okay Gabi, we're almost there." You guess she hears that a lot?!

She loves to sing while we are driving and if Gabi is asleep, she asks," Its okay for me to sing Mommy Daddy song soft while Gabi sleeping?" Its funny because she totally raises her voice to make it a question!

K.C. was watching football the other day and she asked him her famous question, "What doin' Daddio?" He told her he was watching football and asked her what her favorite sport is...her response, "Basketball Daddy, come on!"

Olivia loves to run, so she says to K.C., "Come get me Daddy, I dare you!"

Every time we meet someone she says, "This is my Mommy."

Everything is highly dramatic and very expressive...hmmm...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree:)

Charlie & Bessie

These are K.C.'s grandparents. They love the girls! These are pics from them meeting Gabi for the first time!

Favorite PJs!

These are my favorite PJs for the girls. They are at Gymboree and the just snug their little bodies and keep them warm. I got the girls matching polka dot ones for Christmas. Of course, I couldn't hold out...so they are already wearing them! Oh well, I might as well get as much use as possible. They go from newborn up to 5T!!

Gabi has some on in the pic above...so cute! Olivia likes to sport these with her new winter boots...oh yes, she is already into fashion and has as many pairs of shoes as I do! That is what happens when your Daddy loves shoes:)

Go Gamecocks!

As the black sheep in my family, I am a Gamecock! Therefore, my girls will be South Carolina fans! I know they have let us down the second half of this season, but all I care about is that we beat Clemson and I have bragging rights with my family for another year! Gabi and Olivia got these shirts from a couple of my old teammates. Thanks Lyd and Taco! GO SC!!

Orlando Trip

K.C. and I went to Orlando for the weekend in October. Our company gives employees and their spouses a trip every year where you bring your spouse and spend a relaxing weekend! We ate at Emeril's restaurant, Chop Chop, which was amazing and also went to see Cirque De Soleil! It was my first time going and it was absolutely amazing! These people have the most amazing bodies I have ever seen! So, anytime there is one by you, it is well worth the money!! This is one of K.C.'s best friends from work, Marshall and his girlfriend, Melinda.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween has never been this fun! It all changes when you get to dress up your kids. Olivia was a Unicorn and we just put a cute pumpkin hat on Gabi. Olivia was totally into her little costume...she kept looking in the mirror saying, "Mom, I look cute!" You guess she hears that a lot?! Her favorite part was running up to all the doors with K.C. getting candy. She would take the candy, say thank you and then say, "Lets get more candy, Daddy!" If people didn't answer the door fast enough, she would look at K.C. and say, "They aren't home, Daddy. Lets go!" It was hilarious! Our neighborhood did a trunk or treat where people park their cars at the church and decorate their trunks. They have fun games and candy for all the kids. Its much faster than going door to door!! Olivia is pretty sad that Halloween only lasts one day. She is still carrying her trick or treat bag around the house with all her candy. The little boy in the picture with her is her good buddy Ryder. They are too cute together!
